Dr. Hiba Alsmadi holds a PhD in AI and data science from Liverpool John Moores University, she is currently a Lecturer in Data Visualisation at Teesside University, with a diverse and impactful research portfolio cantered on developing intelligent, AI-driven tools across multiple domains, including industrial applications.

Her work has contributed to high-impact research publications, initiatives and prestigious competitive grants, including those supported by Responsible AI UK (RAI UK) and the Future of Life Institute, reflecting her strong commitment to advancing both the ethical and applied dimensions of artificial intelligence.
