About this event
Most research never gets the recognition it deserves. It stays unpublished, goes uncredited, or is judged by citations instead of real impact. DataIntell Summit 2026 brings together academic and industry experts to explore why, and what researchers can do about it. Join students, researchers and innovators from Africa, the UK, the US and beyond for expert talks, group discussions and a hands-on workshop.
Why this conversation matters
Visibility
Work that never reaches the people who could benefit from it.
Attribution
Ideas whose development was never documented.
Evaluation
Impact misread when citation counts stand in for contribution.
Now add AI. Visibility, attribution and accountability get harder, not easier.
The central idea
A contribution shouldn't be judged by attention alone.
How work can be discovered, fairly attributed and carried forward.
Agenda
Star what you don't want to miss.

After hearing why so much research goes unseen, uncredited and unused, discover how DataIntell helps. The founders introduce the DataIntell platform and its Beyond Citations framework: tools that help researchers check for existing work, protect their ideas, and show the real impact of their research. This leads straight into the hands-on workshop.
