OUR STORY

About DataIntell

DataIntell is a research community platform. We exist to ensure no student's work dies in an archive, no credit gets stolen, and every researcher gets the visibility they deserve. This is not just a platform. It is a movement.

What We Are

A research community platform built for every researcher

DataIntell is a research community platform where students, researchers, academics, and professionals publish their work directly. No institutional gatekeepers. No journal approval process. No waiting months to be told your work does not fit the scope.

The community validates through engagement and structured review. AI validates everything. The community elevates the best. Humans certify the exceptional. Original authorship is permanently protected through cryptographic attribution.

We bring together the rigour of peer review, the speed of open access, the engagement of a research network, and the protection of verifiable attribution. Built for every researcher. Not just PhDs. Not just institutions. Everyone.

The Four Problems We Solve

Four interconnected crises that cost researchers, institutions, and society dearly — every single day.

🔍

Research Invisibility

Only 25% of doctoral dissertations ever reach a peer-reviewed journal (Evans et al., 2018). Less than 12% of UK dissertations receive even a single citation (Kousha & Thelwall, 2020). Work that could change lives sits in university archives. Undiscoverable. Uncredited. Unused.

♻️

Research Duplication

93% of researchers whose work has been duplicated had no idea it happened (Broad & Wade, 1982; replicated in multiple institutional studies). $28 billion is spent annually on irreproducible research in the US alone (Freedman et al., PLOS Biology). Students spend months solving problems already solved.

🛡️

Credit Theft

Around 30% of researchers report directly witnessing or experiencing someone taking credit for their unpublished work (International Research Integrity Survey, 35,000 researchers). Nature's biennial PhD survey consistently finds 25 to 35% of doctoral students cite unfair credit distribution as a primary friction point with supervisors. Without verifiable proof of authorship, there is no recourse. DataIntell changes that.

🏭

Industry Disconnect

Global R&D investment reached $2.8 trillion in 2023 (OECD/WIPO). Yet the "valley of death" between academic research and commercial application remains one of the most documented failures in the innovation system (Hughes & Kitson, 2012; your own white paper). Grassroots solutions exist. Industry cannot find them.

Our Values

Transparency

Open review processes, visible scores, honest feedback. No black boxes, no anonymous gatekeeping. Reviewers are identified and accountable.

Accessibility

Free to use. No paywalls. No institutional gatekeeping. A student in Lagos has the same platform as a professor in London. Global South and Global North, equally.

Attribution

Cryptographic proof of authorship for every published project. Your ideas, your credit — permanently and verifiably recorded. Supervisors cannot claim credit later.

The People

The researchers and builders behind DataIntell.

DataIntell isn't just a platform — it's a movement.

A movement to ensure no student's work dies in an archive.
A movement to prevent supervisor exploitation.
A movement to eliminate wasted duplication.
A movement to connect grassroots innovation with global industry.
A movement to ensure EVERY researcher gets the credit they deserve.
